Who are Unique Ibiza Villas?

Unique Ibiza Villas is part of Unique Ibiza Limited. We are based and registered in the UK (Company Registration number 07894858). Our UK registered office is 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. We are the UK partner for ECO IBIZA who have been operating in Ibiza since 1996. They have an office next to Ibiza Gran Hotel and they also operate a real estate business. ECO IBIZA are a registered Spanish Travel Agency. 

 

How Can I Trust You?

Our Directors have worked in the travel industry for over 40 years combined. We are a UK registered company (check us out via Companies House, the company is registered as Unique Ibiza and Unique Ibiza Villas is our trading name).  We only feature villas we genuinely have access to. We often get phone calls from people telling us that they have been let down about a villa - the best advise we can offer is to be careful who you book with. You can call us anytime and ask us any questions you may have. We only feature villas that are officially registered as houses that are available to rent. Therefore every featured villa is licensed with the local tourism office. Not only does this mean that the villa is legitimate it also means it complies with all local health and safety rules and regulations.

 

Is my money safe?

Unique Ibiza Villas act as an agent on behalf of ECO IBIZA. We do not take payment from you. Payment is taken by ECO IBIZA. All prices are quoted in Euros and payment is taken in Euros. You can pay either by a secure link where, if you have registered with your bank, you can add your 3 digit "3D Secure" password which means your payment is safe.  Debit card payments are free, credit card payments incur an additional 1% and American Express and extra 3%. Alternatively you can pay by bank transfer - please check with your bank what they will charge you for the transfer.

The exchange rate used for debit, credit card and bank transfer payments will be determined by your bank.

 

ATOL & ABTA

ATOL refers to Air Travel Organiser Licence which we are not required to have as we are not providing any air travel elements.
We are not ABTA members.  All payments are made directly to the villa owner via the supplier (we cat as an agent on behalf of our suppliers). Your contract is with the supplier. All payments are made directly to them. They are based in Ibiza and payments to them are protected under Spanish travel agency laws and regulations. ABTA is generally there to protect in the event that your travel agent or tour operator goes bust. In this instance ABTA may protect your payment, but invariably will tell you to claim through your travel insurance. 

The way we work is that you pay the supplier directly, so we are not holding on to your money. We also recommend that you pay on a credit card as the credit card company will protect your payment if the amount is for more than €100, which of course it will be. We suggest you check your payment protection cover with your credit card provider.

What do the prices include?

There are no hidden extras, the prices we quote includes local tax of 10% and all service charges are included. There are no hidden extras.

 

How do I book?

To book a villa then you can call us on 0203 472 1085, or email us: bookings@uniqueibizavillas.co.uk and we will hold the property for 24 hours within which time we will send you a copy of the contract and we will need to receive the 30% deposit (if you are arriving at the villa within the next 4 weeks the full payment is required). The final balance is due 28 days before arrival at the villa.

 

Is there a minimum age?

You must be at least 25 years of age to rent one of the villas we feature. If you are lucky enough to be under 25 years of age then additional restrictions may apply such as a higher security deposit or cash deposit

 

Are there restrictions for same sex groups?

Same sex groups may be subject to additional security deposit charges. We ask you to respect the villa, the furniture, the neighbours and the harmonious vibe of Ibiza. Enjoy your holiday but please have respect for other people.

 

How do I get the keys for the villa?

We will confirm the arrangements for collecting the keys a few weeks before arrival. In the vast majority of situations you will need to go to the Eco Ibiza office in Ibiza Town (next to Ibiza Gran Hotel in the marina area) to arrange the security / caution deposit and pick up directions to your villa.

What time can I check in to the villa?

Check in time at the villa is 3pm in the afternoon. It is unlikely that we can arrange an early check in as in most cases the villa will have guests checking out the day you are checking in. The cleaners need a few hours to get the villa spotless for your arrival. If there is no one in the villa the day you arrive then it may be possible to gain access a little earlier but we'll only know this 24 hours before arrival.

 

What time do I need to check out of the villa?

Check out time is 10am on the day of departure. It is likely that the villa has a booking arriving the later the same day & therefore a late check-out will not be possible, but where the villa is not booked we can sometimes arrange a late check-out until midday. A later check-out will incur a half day rental cost. We can confirm this 24 hours before your departure. Please be aware in July & August a late check-out is almost certainly not possible. Outside of July & August it may be possible to rent the villa for an extra day so you can relax in your villa right up to the time you need to leave for the airport.

 

 

What is the security deposit?

We ask you, and expect you, to respect the property and the owners of the villa the same way you would expect someone to respect your property and possessions if you were renting out your own home

All villas require a security deposit to cover breakages, damage or any additional cleaning required after you have checked out. The deposit required differs per villa and is listed on our website and on the booking confirmation we send you. It is rare that a customer is charged a deduction from the security deposit, however if you break something please do tell us - we appreciate that accidents can happen. On departure you don't need to clean the villa but we do ask that you leave leave the villa in a similar condition that they find it - you don't need to leave the villa spotless but please remember to remove all rubbish and keep the house tidy - as you would (we hope!) your own home.

 

The security deposit varies by villa. The amount is identified on our website on the relevant villa page and we will also confirm these details when we send you the confirmation and before you have paid the deposit.

 

Do I have to clean the villa?

No. just keep it tidy during your stay. If the villa is left in a condition that requires extra cleaning then you will be charged €100 from the security deposit. Please take all rubbish the nearby communal bins as often as possible as this prevents bad smells and unwanted visitors such as insects and ants.

 

 

Can I get a cleaner to come to the villa?

Yes additional cleaning can be arranged. The cost is between €15 to €25 per hour and a minimum of 3 hours.

 

 

Where is the nearest Supermarket?

There are a number of large supermarkets on the island, and many smaller convenience stores. We'll let you know where your nearest large supermarket is but please remember many are closed on a Sunday. However we offer the convenience of a "Full Fridge Service"

 

 

What is the "Full Fridge Service"?

It may not be everyone's idea of fun to go supermarket shopping within your first few hours of landing on the White Isle. Let's be honest there are more important things to do that go trawling the aisles looking for brands you recognise and buying some items you don't. Why not take advantage of our full fridge service where your favourite food and drinks will be waiting for you in the villa when you arrive - how very civilised!

 

 

Can I get a chef to cook for us at the villa?

Yes. We have a number of chefs that can cook for you. Maybe you fancy a traditional paella, BBQ or hog roast. We can arrange meas on a per head basis (minimum 8 people) or if you require a chef for more than 1 meal we can arrange this at €40 per hour. If you would like them to provide the food as well then we can get a quote for you...and the chef's will even clean up after themselves! Perfect for a birthday or hen-do celebration by the pool at your villa.

 

 

Can I get a babysitter?

Childcare arrangements can be provided for a cost of between €15 to €20 per hour

 

 

Do I need to hire a car in Ibiza?

We would recommend hiring a car for pretty much every villa we feature. Most villas are slightly off the beaten track, and a supermarket isn't going to be next door - you'd be disappointed if it was! Check our car hire prices and book online via: www.uniqueibizacarhire.co.uk

 

 

Can I get a taxi in Ibiza?

Taxis run on a meter system as they do at home. Some taxi drivers will not pick up or drop off at a villa they prefer to go to a nearby landmark such as a restaurant. The office in Ibiza can call a taxi for you and give the taxi driver directions to your villa so don't worry if your knowledge of the Spanish is a little basic. We can also arrange the convenience of a pre-booked transfers in an 8 seat Mercedes minivan. You'll be picked up from the villa, and dropped home again at the end of your day or night out. Prices vary depending on the journey but we can send you details.

We can also pick you up from the airport on arrival and drop you off for your return flight.

 

Does the villa have a BBQ?

Most villas come with a BBQ… however in certain areas on the island it is not possible to have a BBQ due to the risk of fire. If you are in a "BBQ permitted villa" then please keep some water handy just in case you dampen down the flames.

 

Can I have a party at the villas?

The rules in Ibiza are pretty strict: all outside noise has to finish at midnight. Please be courteous to your neighbours, and avoid a visit, and on the spot fine, from the local Guardia Civil or Police. If you are looking to host an event for 20 or more guests then please let us know and we can suggest villas that are suitable. We will always need to villa owner's permission if you are looking to host a party or event.

 

I'd like to get married in Ibiza, are any villas suitable for a wedding?

We have a number of villas that are perfect wedding venues and will make your special day extra special. We offer bespoke solutions rather than mass market conveyor belt weddings. Let us know your requirements and budget and we'll let you know which villas suit. When we have booked your villa we can provide details of a wedding planner or catering companies.  

 

Prices

Prices can change. Early booking offers expire, and owners will react if they think their villa is priced too high or too low.  We endeavour to keep our prices up to date but please check with us for current pricing and availability. We do offer a BEST PRICE GUARANTEE so you won't find the same villa cheaper.

 

How do I book & pay?

You can call us on 0203 472 1085, or email us: bookings@uniqueibizavillas.co.uk  and we'll hold the villa for you, send you a contract and once payment has been received the booking will be confirmed. The deposit required is 30%. If you are booking within 4 weeks of arrival then full payment is required at the time of booking. You can either pay via a secure link (if you have registered with your bank, you can add your 3 digit "3D Secure" password which means your payment is safe). There are no additional charges to pay using a debit card or credit card (Visa and Mastercard). We can not accept American Express. Alternatively you can pay by bank transfer - please check with your bank what they will charge you for the transfer. How do I know if the villa is right for me?

We have visited all of the villas we feature so our role is to be honest and objective if you would like us to give you our opinion. We want you to have a great holiday and if we can help with arranging that then we've done our job properly… and that makes us happy.

 

There's no crime in Ibiza is there, its Paradise right?

Well we personally think Ibiza is amazing and it always feels like Paradise to us, but please make sure that when you are in Ibiza you look after the villa as you would your own home. Lock doors, windows and hide valuables (many villas have safety deposit boxes) and generally don't do anything that could encourage a break-in. 

 

Are the swimming pools heated?

No. It costs too much money to heat the pool and in the summer months you just won't need it. Many of the pools are salt water as this can be safer, healthier and easier to maintain than a chlorine pool.

 

Is Wi-Fi included?

In many villas Wi-Fi is included for free. If the villa isn't Wi-Fi enabled then we can rent you a portable modem for €25 per week. If you are a large group using multiple devices then it may be worth hiring an extra device or two so you'll be connected to the internet without (hopefully) and service disruptions - however in some more rural villas then you will need to expect some outages and service disruption.  

 

Can I get a cot?

Many villas will have a cot; just let us know what you need and we can request it for you. Some villas will provide a cot free of charge, but if not the maximum cost is normally €50 per booking. Sheets are not provided so please remember to bring your own. High chairs can also be provided, and again the maximum cost will be €50 per booking, but normally if you have a cots and highchair the maximum cost will be €50 for both. Please let us know what you require at the time of booking.
