Villa Curreu III (Can Curreu III) is located in a quiet area just under 1 kilometre from restaurants, bars and shops in the charming, traditional and rather cool village of Santa Gertrudis (de Fruitera)
 
The villa has 4 bedrooms and the house has been constructed over 1 floor
The villa is a relatively modern build (circa 2005) with some traditional features
There are 3 double bedrooms and a bedroom with a single bed
Although none of the bedrooms have air conditioning there is air conditioning in the hallway between the bedrooms which will help to keep the rooms cool; in addition there is air conditioning in the living room

The fully equipped kitchen has a traditional Sabina wood ceiling and breakfast table

The area behind the villa is woodland; great for kids to explore

LOCATION

Villa Curreu III is only 1 kilometre to the centre of the village of Santa Gertrudis, which you can walk to, although please be aware you do need to cross the road that runs between Ibiza Town and San Miguel (Sant Miquel de Balansat) village

Santa Gertrudis is a lovely village with traditional church square, tapas bars and restaurants, but also with many contemporary restaurants and boutique shops

The villa is not only perfectly located for the village but you are pretty much located in the middle of the island with the centre of Ibiza Town only 11 kilometres away to the south and to the north you have San Miguel (Sant Miquel de Balansat) and San Juan (Sant Joan de Labritja) which are also both traditional villages; on a Sunday in San Juan there is a weekly "hippy" market,

As you travel around the island you will quickly see that each area of the island is unique and appeals to different people which is what helps to make Ibiza such a wonderful island

To the east is the resort of Santa Eulalia is only 10 kilometres away for restaurants, shops and beach

For beaches you can decide to head to beaches in the west including Cala Salada, Cala Gracio and San Antonio, to the south for Talamanca, to the east for Santa Eulalia, Cala Llonga, Playa Es Niu Blau and many other beaches spread along the east coast; and to the north for Benirras

Close to the villa is a quirky store/bar/restaurant/meeting place called Sluiz which is worth a visit, and you can potentially walk there from the villa through the woods behind the villa

Please be aware that from the pool area you can hear a small amount of noise from the nearby road, but there is no noise when inside the house. However as you have no immediate neighbours then some gentle background music will more than eliminate any noise. The plus side is that road network means that you can get to the most points of the island in no more than 20 minutes, and of course to Santa Gertrudis village in just a few minutes.
