Villa Gilbert feels like it is the middle of nowhere; and in many ways it is and this is the appeal to enjoy peace and quiet in a traditional finca set within a plot 15,000 m2. Part of the original house dates back over 300 years. Ibiza being relatively small means that you are never that far from civilisation and Santa Gertrudis village is 10 minutes away, San Antonio 15 minutes and Ibiza Town 20 minutes.

LOCATION
Villa Gilbert is reached along a 2 kilometres long dirt road through the countryside in a rural & private setting between the small villages of San Mateo and Forada and the larger villages of San Rafael & Santa Gertrudis. This is a real "get away from it all" villa where you are surrounded by the beautiful Ibiza countryside
The nearest bar/restaurant is La Granja Farmhouse Kitchen, an upmarket organic restaurant. 3 kilometres away in the tiny village of Forada with 1 bar and 1 small convenience store; we say village but in reality it's a crossroads, but this is Ibiza off the beaten track and away from tourists where the person sitting next to you is more like to be a local rather than a holidaymaker
For larger villages head to Santa Gertrudis and San Rafael (Sant Rafael de sa Creu) with a good selection of restaurants to suit.
One of the reasons Ibiza is such an amazing destination is that the villa is less than 10 kilometres from the bustling resort of San Antonio, and only 15 kilometres to Ibiza Town; allowing you to chill in the countryside by day and choose whether to cook a BBQ under the stars at night or head out for a totally different experience at night

ARRIVAL PROCESS &
KEY COLLECTION
We will confirm arrival details a few weeks before
arrival
Where possible you will be met at the villa
Alternatively you may be able to go by yourself and we will send
you directions to the villa and a keycode
Alternatively, keys will be collected from the office in Ibiza
Town (Next to Ibiza Gran Hotel).
If you are arriving outside of office hours (until 19:30) the
following late arrival charges will apply:
- From 19:30 to 22:00 €60
- After 22:00 €100
Payment in cash on arrival please
Please advise us if the rental client named on the booking will
not be arriving first & collecting the keys
Approx. 4 weeks before you arrive we will send you an online
check-in form to speed up the process on arrival and get you
relaxing around the pool that little bit quicker

TIME
Check-in time from 15:00 / Check-out time on departure by
10:00 (am)
In the main summer months it is highly unlikely that an early
check-in or late check-out will be possible as the villa will need
to be fully cleaned in preparation for your arrival
In the quieter months it may be possible to arrange an early check-in or late check-out but we won't be able to confirm this until about 24 hours before just in case there is a very late booking either side of your stay.
