VILLA ANDREUET (Rural near San Carlos village & Aguas Blancas)

OVERVIEW

Villa Andreuet is set in a rural and quiet area 2 kilometres (25 minute walking distance for many) to Aguas Blancas (Aigues Blanques) beach on the north east coast of Ibiza and 2.5 kilometres from San Carlos (Sant Carles de Peralta) village

This traditional villa has 4 bedrooms and is built over 2 floors
All bedrooms have air conditioning

There are 2 bedrooms on the first floor
The master bedroom with double bed, air conditioning, TV and en suite bathrooms. You also have a furnished private terrace with shade and panoramic rural views
Another bedroom with double bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan, en suite bathroom and Juliette balcony  

On the ground floor are further 2 bedrooms

The living room retains many original features including some wooden beams in the ceiling, as and has a dining table and doors that lead to the outside dining / BBQ / terrace / pool and gardens. The (mostly) modern kitchen has a traditional style ceiling, large American style fridge freezer, another fridge freezer, breakfast bar and large inside / outside dining area with large doors that open to the outside:

The swimming pool measures 10 metes x 5 metres with a small Jacuzzi section  
The pool area has a wooden gate to protect younger children from accessing the pool unsupervised (remember to also close to the other door in the house that have access to the pool!)

The BBQ is brick built for charcoal and/or wood and there is a sink here as well

The porch overhang at the front to of the villa has rattan furniture where you can relax with a book or a coffee

The gardens are a mix of grass and mature trees with rural views to provide a relaxing stay in Ibiza

LOCATION

Villa Andreuet is 2 kilometres from the sandy beach at Aguas Blancas (Aigues Blanques) on the north east coast of Ibiza. This stretch of dramatic coastline is reached by steps that lead to the sandy beach below. The walk is approx. 25 minutes from the villa.

Other nearby beaches include the small beaches of Playa Pou d'es Lleo (5 kilometres), Cala Boix (6 kilometres), Cala Mastella (6 kilometres), Cala Pada (9 kilometres) and Playa Niu Blau (10 kilometres). Most of these beaches have one or more traditional restaurant or Chiringuito; perfect for a seafood lunch

Large beaches include Cala Llenya (6 kilometres), Cala Nova (6.5 kilometres) with an umber of beach restaurants including Atzaro beach and Aiyanna Ibiza, and thew beach and resort of Santa Eulalia (9 kilometres)

Other villages you may want to visit include the traditional villages of San Juan (Sant Joan de Labritja) 12.5 kilometres (Sunday is market day in this bohemian north Ibiza bolthole that modern times have not changed much over the years) and Santa Gertrudis 16.4 kilometres away.  

If markets are your thing then head to Las Dalias for various events during the week and on a Wednesday the hippy market at Punta Arabi near Es Canar (9 kilometres)

Ibiza Town centre is 24 kilometres (30 minutes by car/taxi) or take the regular ferry from Santa Eulalia

There is a convenience store (Can Toni Mariano) 400 metres from the villa where you can also get a beer and a bite to eat which makes going shopping much more fun
