LOCATION
Villa Mercedes Simo is situated on the hillside of Can Pep Simo - an upmarket residential area on the outskirts of the centre of Ibiza Town. The nearest beach is Talamanca; a beach popular with locals with a mix of simple and traditional restaurants, many of which have been there for many years, some for a generation or two.
By contrast, along the beach of Talamanca, is Nobu Hotel Ibiza
Bay which is opened in 2018.
Also nearby is Destino Pacha Ibiza Resort.
If you are looking for beach clubs than you can head in any direction to find many within about a 20-minute drive; including Blue Marlin at Cala Jondal, Nikki Beat at ME Hotel S'Argamassa, and Amante Beach Club (Sol d'en Serra). The best beach on the island at Ses Salinas and is where you will find the beach clubs and restaurants of Jockey Club, Sa Trinxa, Malibu and Beso Beach.
Within 5 minutes you will be in Ibiza Town with its incredible choice of restaurants and bars from simple and traditional to outrageously expensive. Ibiza Town is also home to the (currently) only Michelin star restaurant in Ibiza (Estragon Ibiza)
For those that know the area, Sa Punta restaurant is less than 1 kilometre away
Lio and Pacha are just a few minutes taxi ride from the
villa
For the perfect day out you should head to Formentera by private
boat charter - the marina is just a few kilometres

WHAT WE THINK
Modern villa in great location. What you won't see in the images (based on our last visit) is an abandoned house opposite the villa. It's not a problem, other than it may be in your eye line and we think you should know as we appreciate this is not ideal for some customers. The pool is not huge at 5 metres x 4 metres, but spacious roof terrace with wonderful panoramic sea views

ARRIVAL PROCESS &
KEY COLLECTION
We will confirm arrival details a few weeks before
arrival
Where possible you will be met at the villa
Alternatively you may be able to go by yourself and we will send
you directions to the villa and a keycode
Alternatively, keys will be collected from the office in Ibiza
Town (Next to Ibiza Gran Hotel).
If you are arriving outside of office hours (until 19:30) the
following late arrival charges will apply:
- From 19:30 to 22:00 €60
- After 22:00 €100
Payment in cash on arrival please
Please advise us if the rental client named on the booking will
not be arriving first & collecting the keys
Approx. 4 weeks before you arrive we will send you an online
check-in form to speed up the process on arrival and get you
relaxing around the pool that little bit quicker

TIME
Check-in time from 15:00 / Check-out time on departure by
10:00 (am)
In the main summer months it is highly unlikely that an early
check-in or late check-out will be possible as the villa will need
to be fully cleaned in preparation for your arrival
In the quieter months it may be possible to arrange an early check-in or late check-out but we won't be able to confirm this until about 24 hours before just in case there is a very late booking either side of your stay.

We stayed in the villa in August, having never been to Ibiza before. The villa is fantastic, with lovely bedrooms, and a beautiful roof terrace which we really miss now we are home!! Amazing views over Ibiza Town. If I was being picky (and I try not to be) the the cleaning on arrival could have been more thorough. Just to also point out that there is a derelict building to the left of the villa. It doesn't spoil the view, it's just incredible for us to believe that in such a wealthy area this building is so unloved, but we understand there are some strict local laws regarding abandoned buildings..but I only mention it for other customers to be aware of..as I say it doesn't spoil the amazing view
