Portinatx is a family friendly resort in the north of Ibiza with 3 different small sandy beaches (Puerto Portinatx, Portinatx beach and Cala Portinatx) split between the rocky headland. There is a dive centre for those looking to do some serious snorkelling and inn the low season there are some great walks you can enjoy along the dramatic coastline; including a walk to the tallest lighthouse in Ibiza. But in July & August we expect you will just want to relax by the pool of your private villa, but if you do want to head to nearby beaches than there are quite a few small coves including Cala Xuclar, Cala Xarraca and Cala d'en Serra. For dining you have restaurants in the resort of Portinax, and you can reach the traditional and cute village of San Juan (Sant Joan de Labritja); head to the village on Sunday morning for the weekly market and mini fiestas, or head to the village any day to experience a great chose of places to eat, drink or just order a coffee and watch the world pass by slowly - north Ibiza style.
